The first record Paola ever bought was Michael Jackson's Off The Wall on a school trip to Paris in 1980, at a cost of 79 francs. She still had enough left over from her spending money to buy 10 Carambars, a small Eiffel Tower and a pen where if you hold it upside down the ladies black swimsuit disappeared. They all had a great laugh on the bus home playing with that. She also kept a pear and some of her baguette and smelly cheese for the trip home.
