Here goes the maths...
Basically, we have to win one of our 4 remaining games to be certain of not
finishing in 6th spot. The teams below us need us to fuck up badly in all of
our remaining games to give them a chance.
- The Dogs have 3 left, but they are 3 games behind us, so even if
they win them all and we loose ours, they will still finish below us because
we've beat them twice.
- The Renegades have 3 games left and are 2 games behind us. If they
win 2 out of 3 and we loose all our games, they still finish below us due
to aggregate runs scored over the two games.
- The Slammers have 4 games left and are 2 games behind us. The crunch
game for them is the game against us. If they loose, they are in deep shit.
If we beat the Slammers, we can't come lower than 6th.
My prediction - Kegs last, Dogs 7th, Renegades 6th, Slammers 5th, Flyers
4th.
